Sea-level rise mini dress

Printed jersey garment made with my own pattern. I made the pattern of an altered version of South Florida’s storm surge zones (increasing due to rising sea levels) and abstracted it in Photoshop. I printed the pattern on scuba material to depict how South Florida’s coast is receding and our land may soon be underwater. I also photographed a model wearing my dress and standing on stairs that have eroded due to sea level rise to reflect the theme visually.
