Mia is an undergraduate Fashion Design student at Parsons School of Design in NYC.
Mia was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and is based between New York City and Miami. She began sewing at 8 years old and taking pictures at an early age with a Polaroid camera. Having an infatuation for analog photography, she transitioned to a 35mm film camera and started directing/photographing fashion photoshoots to showcase her designs.
Her work explores mirages and the illusions that blur the boundaries between the inner and outer self. Mia’s fascination with fashion’s transformative power to shape presentation manifests through her projects and collaborations.
